Last Thursday night my wife and I decided to go check-out the Flashlight Tours at the DBG (Desert Botanical Garden). The tours are on Thursday and Saturday nights during the summer, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. We got there early so that we could enjoy a quick dinner at Gertrude’s, the new DBG restaurant. After dinner we joined the tour just as it started. Was lucky enough to capture a few roadrunner photos before it got too dark.
There are still a few cactus with flowers, not near as many as a few months ago, but we did like the one below from the Jumping Cholla.
As we were leaving I noticed the Schilling Entry Arbor could make for a possible interesting HDR photo. Used a bracketed 3 exposure (-2, 0, +2) setting with a wide-angle lens. The resulting photo is below.
