Had three pieces of art selected for The Gallery at el Pedregal Scottsdale Inaugural Exhibition. El Predregal at The Boulders is nestled amid a stunning desert landscape and 12 million-year-old boulders. It’s a destination with high-end boutiques, restaurants & cafes, galleries & an amphitheater. The new gallery is managed by the Sonoran Art League.
Below are the images selected for the Inaugural Exhibition, “Light Breaking Thru The Butte”, “Beauty Of Oak Creek” and “Worn But Not Broken”.

Got some more good news this week! My “Beauty Of Oak Creek” photo was selected by the Herberger Theater “Snap – The Art of Photography” exhibit. The exhibit will be on display at the University Club Phoenix from May 9 to July 2, 2014. There will be an Opening Reception on May 9th at 5:30 – 7 pm. The exhibit will contain 31 pieces of artwork chosen from the 322 images received.
Sorry that some of the info below is a repeat from the last post.
The image selected was captured the day after the 4th of July, 2013, during one of our trips to Sedona (photo info: 18mm, 1/60 sec, f/7.1, ISO 200). This image was captured from the footbridge near the Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village in Sedona. In the distance is Wilson Mountain and Steamboat Rock.

Will print the image on Epson Exhibition Fiber 17 x 22 paper using a Epson Pro 3800 with Epson UltraChrome K3™ ink technology. Will mount the photo on a 24 x 30 archival foam board using Lineco archival photo corners and mounting strips. A single white archival mat will be used. The frame will be a jet black wood gallery frame. Will use a archival silver metallic gel pen to sign the print behind the mat and also on the front of the mat. The last step will be to attach the label below to the back of the foam board and the frame backing.
Well, all good things must come to a end, and this is the end of our post for the Snap – The Art of Photography Exhibit. Adios!
