West Valley Arts Council Surprise Invitational Exhibit
Was invited to participate in the West Valley Arts Council Surprise Invitational Exhibition! The show is a hybrid exhibit of invitational and juried artists. Below are the two images I selected to be part of exhibition. The West Valley Arts HQ Gallery is located in Surprise next to the City of Surprise City Hall. The Arts HQ consists of 2,500 square feet of gallery space – plus an outdoor courtyard. The art exhibit will be from October 22nd, 2015 until December 11th, 2015 with an opening reception on October 22nd, 2015 , 5 pm to 7 pm. The reception will include light refreshments. Over 80 pieces of art will be on display.
Admission is free, so time to get off the couch, out of the house and support the arts!
The image “Ghost Owl Portrait Dos” is a limited edition and will be displayed in a 37 x 21 Shadow Box Frame. Was on display at Method Art in Scottsdale earlier this year.
The image “Mailbox Panoramic” is also a limited edition. It was from captured while in Prescott Arizona and is printed directly on a 5 x 24 sheet of Acrylic. It was recently on display at the Jadite Gallery in New York City.

Visions: The West Valley Through Your Eyes – Arts HQ Exhibit
Three of my photos were selected by the West Valley Arts Council to be displayed at the Arts HQ Visions: The West Valley Through Your Eyes Art Exhibit from January 8th through February 9th. The Arts HQ is located at 16126 North Civic Center Plaza, Surprise, AZ 85374. There will be an Opening Reception on January 8th (Next Thursday Evening), 5 – 7 PM. The reception is open to the public.
The Official Headquarters
The Arts HQ is destined to become the West Valley’s gathering place for artistic inspiration, and will serve as the official headquarters for arts and cultural information for our region’s residents and visitors. The Arts HQ consists of 2,500 square feet of gallery space – plus an outdoor courtyard – connected by a covered breezeway. These flexible spaces allow for a multitude of arts and cultural events, and can be adapted to meet various visual and performance requirements.
The image “Power Demons” was captured near the Estrella Mountains.
Below is the image “Amber Waves”, featuring my wife, and my muse. Created in one of the remaining farm fields in Goodyear Arizona and only a short distance from where I grew up.
The image “I Can See It From Here” is one of the remaining Burrowing Owls that make Goodyear home.
