Maple Wood Prints

New Product! Maple Wood Prints are now available! They are UV printed directly on to 1/2″ thick certified sustainable maple wood board for a warm and natural looking print that is also eco-friendly. Below is “Winter Beauty Of Oak Creek” printed with a Natural Finish on a 12×18 wood print with a 3/4″ border. The Natural Finish has a crisp look of the wood grain that appears through the light areas of the image.  For a more vibrant look, there is also a White Finish (the images are printed with a white ink underlay). Wood prints are available in a variety of sizes (up to 40 x 60) and are ready to hang with your choice of a Wood Float Hanger with or without a Cleat, or a Keyhole Mount.

Please keep in mind that each alluring wood print is unique and no two prints will look precisely alike.

Diving Lady Tetraptych – Neon Sign

Diving Lady Tetraptych – Neon Sign

The Diving Lady is my first tetraptych (an arrangement of pictures in four parts)!  The print shows the four modes of the animated diving lady from the Starlite Motel in Mesa. The neon sign was restored after being damaged by an October 5, 2010 storm. The photos were captured during the lighting ceremony on April 02, 2013. About 300 people attended the celebration to watch Mesa Mayor Scott Smith flip the switch. The original sign was built in 1960.

The finished piece is 45.25 x 7.5 inches. The “Diving Lady Tetrptych” will soon be hanging at the Catitude Gallery & Studio on Western Avenue in Historic Avondale. Also please mark your calendar for the Catitude Gallery Artist Reception on Saturday, September 27th at 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Hope to see you there!
