Wedding Shoot

Today we get to help our friend Mr. Jimmy (James Amrine) with one of his wedding shoots. This is our first time, so we are excited to get started! We were happy to help Mr. Jimmy and also learn from someone that has been photographing weddings for some time. The wedding starts at 10:00 am, so we arrive just a little past 9:00 am. We had to drive from the West Valley!

The Wedding

The wedding is in Gilbert, Arizona at Cozy Weddings Of Gilbert. This photo was taken by my wife, while the bride was enjoying a short moment of quite (photo info: 16mm, 1/30 sec, f/5.6, ISO 800)!

The Riparian Preserve At Water Ranch

For some after the wedding photos it was off to the Gilbert Water Preserve. The Water Preserve was a short drive from the wedding. Time to serenade the bride (photo info: 50mm, 1/125 sec, f/14, ISO 200).

The Reception

The reception was in Mesa. This is from the first dance. I thought the black and white effect worked well for this photo (photo info: 50mm, 1/500 sec, f/1.4, ISO 50).

First Wedding Shoot post

This a group shot from the reception that my wife took after Mr. Jimmy ordered everyone to act a little crazy or should I say a little crazier (photo info: 50mm, 1/100 sec, f/2.8, ISO 800).

A Few More Photos

We would like to thank Mr. Jimmy again for inviting us to help!

Well, all good things must come to a end, and this is the end of our post for our first wedding shoot. Adios!
